  3. Naheed Nenshi is mayor of Calgary, Alberta. Although a sometimes controversial figure, he has on many occasions shown true leadership, tempered with a wicked sense of humor.

His speech on "the right thing" to do is nothing short of inspirational and may be read on his web site at…

Although Canadian-born, Nenshi is a Muslim, so would not be allowed to enter a Trump-led U.S.A in case he started massacring people.

on a different note on Canadian Seniors..

    I have been following this,
the government agency says they found one comment , somewhere , which might indicate he is not eligible , so he is NOT eligible…
Family says, it was wrong/incorrect and has documents to prove he is a genuine veteran, etc..

He is, at 94, being denied right to live in a Veteran's home..

Norwegian veteran's request for care at Camp Hill officially denied

Family of Petter Blindheim says they will keep fighting and not give up hope

The family of a 94-year-old Norwegian war veteran says Veterans Affairs Canada has officially rejected his application to receive care at the Camp Hill hospital in Halifax.

Petter Blindheim is a decorated war hero who received six medals while serving with the Royal Norwegian Navy.

Blindheim's son, Peter Blendheim (Blindheim's wife changed the spelling of their son's name to make it sound more English), says they first applied to have his father admitted to the hospital for veterans more than a year ago.

They've been turned down three times.
