The Mystery Tower

No idea what this is. It’s maybe 40′ tall, hexagonal, log construction with tight joints. I’ve never seen any sign of habitation. It’s on a beautiful sunny south-facing piece of land with lichen-covered rocks right above the (today at least) crashing waves.

it looks really well made, and maintained..

almost like it is still in use..Interesting you've never seen anyone about.

crashing waves…– Some type of lighthouse?

    air raid siren local?

Sounds like (from your post) you have driven by it often. Has it "always" been there, or newish construct? Looks like some squared log ends in the foreground of the pic?

  2. Is that some kind of antenna at the top? Maybe a covert NSA listening station disguised as a silo? Delete this comment before reading it!

  3. Hi Lloyd,

Don't get too close to that thing, Lloyd. You could end up on your way to Mars in the company of aliens. On second thought, considering this election season…

I'd go find out who owns the land it's sitting on… that county's tax assessor's office will have the info.

    maybe a silly question,
but is it actually made of wood, or is it cement formed to look like wood squared logs? I have seen some of those.

Don't know what country its in but it looks like a windmill of some sort.

  9. Lloyd, the thing on top is definitely a vertical axis wind turbine, and it looks like a 'one off' effort, so that makes this very interesting indeed.

It is where Rapunzel lives, with Mother Gothel.
